More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been babysitting since I was age 7 years old, I am now 23 years old with 2 of my own children plus 2 bonus kiddos. I have and am currently watching kiddos in my home. I have actually stayed at a families home overnight as they worked 3rd shift and I got the kids up in the morning and got them ready for school. I have also worked with kiddos and adults with intellectual disabilities. I have lots of nieces and nephews that have Autism, Bipolar, Etc so I do have experience in that field as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kiddos come in smiling and leaving smiling. Making sure the kids have a blast while they are in my care and are taken care of.
My experience with special needs children...
I use to work at BSDC and have multiple family members that have Autism, Bipolar, ADHD (my son has it as well), Anxiety (my son has it as well), and other intellectual disabilities so I have worked around alot of behaviors. Usually for behaviors I redirect or pull them aside and ask what is bothering them and let them be alone for a couple minutes to have a breather and go back and ask if they feel any better and if they would like to join the other children on whatever they may be doing at that time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching them grow everyday and learning new things.
