In high school I took child development, where we had a daycare in the morning classes. Being in that class taught me how to care for and how to teach children. Also we had to come up with lessons plans and activities for the children to do. My first real babysitting job was tuff getting a child to warm to a sitter can be very hard when all they know is “mommy and daddy” but showing the child you are only there to help have fun and clean they will soon love you.
