My experience with special needs children...
I've cared for high behavioral and spectrum diagnosed children in a preschool setting. We worked on educational related skills such as large motor skills, shapes and colors, speech and language modeling, behavior management, and how to appropriately interact with peers. I've had the pleasure of working with both verbal and non verbal children in this capacity.
I've also worked as a private nanny for a family with 3 children with an autism diagnosis, wherein I collaborated with their in-home therapists to adhere to their behavioral and developmental plans outside of the therapists visit hours. This included potty training, food sensitivity management plans, speech and language skills, and alternative communication skills.
