Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered in my church's nursery taking care of a range of kids from infants-toddlers. I have also volunteered as a teacher at church for kindergarten students during the summer for a week. I took a role in helping my sister and her husband raise their daughter ever since she was born who is now two years old, who I try to see very often on my free time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking my niece to the park to get some vitamin D and exposure to other children as well as to keep her active. I always like to do outside activities such as walking, painting at the park, or water parks/splash pads. Indoors activities I enjoy doing with children depending on their age is drawing, painting, age-appropriate puzzles, and other engaging developmental activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to help parents or families find their balance and manage their lives by lending a helping hand with their children. To always provide a safe and well-maintained environment for the child. I think it is also an important skill/trait as a nanny to be able to make a child feel comfortable and welcomed to be themselves such as to talk and play on the first few encounters.

I do not have personal or professional experience with special needs children.However, I am always willing to learn and adapt to their environment to help in any way I can.

Seeing children interact and get along with others. It always warms my heart when my niece refers to other children as her friends.
