A little bit about me

Hi parents, I'm Erika and I'm excited to connect with you!
I have always loved children's curiosity, excitement and seeing the world through their fresh eyes!

I have been a nanny for 12 years and have worked with children ages 6 months - 13 years old. I've worked with many different families in varying capacities. Some full time focusing only on childcare and most recently I've moved into a family assistant role. This has included duties like laundry, grocery shopping, managing schedules, pet care and really whatever needs to be done and is helpful!

My childcare style is influenced by my time working in a Montessori preschool. I love child led learning, seeing where their interests are and running with it!

In my spare time I love to be outside and active! I go on daily walks and love my workouts. I'm currently learning to play the guitar and love spending as much time as I can with friends and family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've coached groups of children ages 5-10 and summer sports camps.
I was an assistant to the director of a Montessori preschool and helped run the toddler aged group.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on nature walks with kids rain or shine! I grew up playing sports like soccer and basketball and love to get my kiddos playing.
Around the house arts and crafts projects are so fun to get their little hands moving and watch them get creative!
I love going on adventures to the library or museums. Taking my kids to outside events like local farmers markets or music events is a blast.
One of my very favorite activities is reading to and with children and using silly voices to make it fun!
