Hello, my name is Erika. I have been working in Japan for almost 3 years teaching 2nd graders. It has been a great experience. I loved all the kids I worked with and will miss them deeply, but I felt it was the right time to come home. I am coming back to Arkansas and am looking to work with children again. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a major in psychology and a minor in human development. After graduating, I worked part time at the NWA Children's Shelter for a year, and then at UAMS Kids First, a treatment center/preschool for children with special needs from 0-5 years, for 2 years. I have also had many years of experience caring for children of all ages. I have worked as a nanny, after school babysitter, occasional sitter, and a date night sitter. I am very confident in my ability with children and am able to build rapport with them quickly.
