Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing preschool with the children helping them get ready for when they do go to preschool. Not required of me to do but it’s something I love doing on my own I supply the work books, crafts all that. And only if they want too and it’s not always every day nor is it all day. We go outside weather permitted same with daily walks. I love reading to them and listening/dancing to music and just playing that’s the main important thing is learning through play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Loving the kids like my own. Learning how to listen them and be mindful of thier feelings. And I teach them that adults make mistakes too. If I have older children like 2 to 4 age range if thier having a hard time or day we talk about it. And the same for me if I’m having a hard moment or day we talk about it. First we apologize and then talk about our feelings and what we can do to make it better on both our ends. And for the babies and younger toddlers i been working on trying to understand thier feelings as well. And if all thier needs have been met first and thier still having a hard time or day unless thier sick I put them in a safe place like thier crib with a book or whatever they prefer for a few minutes . But if all else fails moving forward parents will be notified especially with the babies if everything has been done and I can’t calm them down I will contact you cause sometimes that can lead to frustration on both our ends and I don’t won’t it to come to that.

I love the funny things the kids say. They keep me laughing at all times with the things they say and do.
