My experience with special needs children...
I always make sure that the parents let me know what I can and cannot do when a child of special needs has to be taken care of, I have them by my side 24/7 to keep a close eye with them, I even teach them how to keep control of there temper with a little exercise I learned from friend, just place both of your hands on your chest and pretend your loved on is giving you the most loving hug and take deep breaths and feel the energy of your loved one calming you down

I remember one day there was this kid name Austin and his mom was always working and he missed her so much that one night when we was watch his favorite movie Uncle P, he started crying because he said every Saturday him and his mom would watch the movie on repeat til he fell asleep and I held him close and told him “Hun your mom loves you so much that she is doing so much for you, even being out so long to work to take care of you” then I wiped his tears and told him lets remake a favorite memory of his and we dressed up and played good cop, bad cop on his mom when she got home obviously he wanted to bad cop and he questioned her so much I just couldn’t help but laugh a little when he got on her and she was playing along good too! But then he wanted to be a good cop too after telling his mom about how much he missed her and we all cried like big babies and then we ate dinner and me and his mom put him to bed and then I went home
