Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Milieu Counselor as well as a Milieu Supervisor within a residential therapeutic treatment facility that was home to 12+ kids at any given time. Responsibilities of supervising in a therapeutic residential childcare environment include all matters of direct custodial childcare such as insuring all hygienic needs of clients are being met; for example hair brushing, teeth brushing, insuring children are being dressed in clean clothes, fed warm meals three times daily, and providing a safe, clean and productive environment in which to live. Assisted with acquiring emotional regulation and communication skills. Participated in tons of play and connecting activities.

Hiking, biking, arts and crafts, legos, reading stories, playing basketball, playing with toys (dolls/action figures/dinosaurs/cars), playing outside, going on outings to zoos, museums and parks, cooking (as age appropriate) and gardening
