Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Milieu Counselor as well as a Milieu Supervisor within a residential therapeutic treatment facility that was home to 12+ kids at any given time. Responsibilities of supervising in a therapeutic residential childcare environment include all matters of direct custodial childcare such as insuring all hygienic needs of clients are being met; for example hair brushing, teeth brushing, insuring children are being dressed in clean clothes, fed warm meals three times daily, and providing a safe, clean and productive environment in which to live. Assisted with acquiring emotional regulation and communication skills. Participated in tons of play and connecting activities.
