A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Erin! I started working with kids the way many teen girls do-- babysitting for family members, neighbors, and friends as soon as I turned 13. During high school, I landed a weekly recurring job for a super sweet family that turned into a full time summer nannying gig during college.

Now, as an adult with 10+ years of experience caring for children, infants, and pets, I am looking to provide busy parents with opportunities for regular date nights or to provide coverage during a busy weekend.

I have my own vehicle, have been CPR certified, and can provide childcare references upon request. I am consistently reliable, incredibly responsible, and also have previous employment experience as a tutor (so homework help is covered!)

I love connecting with kids and building lasting relationships with families. In my spare time, you can find me in ballet class, on a walk in the park, or curled up with a good book. I am looking forward to becoming your go-to sitter!

I love going for nature walks or bike rides outside, finding local playgrounds and museums to explore, coloring or painting, baking treats, reading together, and discovering your child's favorite toys and games to play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Bonding with the kids is top of the list for me. I want your kids to feel as safe and secure with me as they do with you or any other adults who help care for them. I love getting to know each child's individual personality and interests, and being intentional about making them feel seen, heard, and loved.

When my 3 year old charge noticed that the necklace I wore had the ASL hand sign for "I love you" engraved on the pendant, and one day without any prompting she started signing it to me!
