I love going on walks, especially through parks and trails This allows me the chance to teach about nature. I also love games and reading to/with kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I find it very important to be more than a babysitter. When i nanny i love to teach and learn with the kids. This includes basic school learning as well as the world around us. Being outdoors and teaching kids how to be successful are my biggest passions. Love the child and teach them and care for them like they are your own.

I have worked with kids with adhd, high functioning autism, and delayed speech.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My first and longest nanny job started when this little girl was 6 weeks old. We found out she was having issues with delayed speech when she was about 2 and a half. My proudest moment was after 4 months of working on basic sign language she was finally able to say thank you and ask for things like milk and food. Being able to communicate was so exciting and still makes my heart swell in pride for her.
