A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Eryn. I am a 20-year-old sophomore attending Sac State. I'm looking for a full time nanny position as my schooling will be online. I am more than happy to help your child with distance learning as well! (I know it’s a struggle).
I have 5 lol+ years of babysitting/nannying experience, as well as my current job as a teacher's aide, giving me extensive experience in monitoring and caring for multiple kids at once. I have a natural loving and caring personality, which gives me the patience, compassion, and understanding mentality necessary to care for children. I am more than happy to go into detail about all my experience and share more about myself. I hope we are able to get in contact over Zoom or a phone call!
I would also like to add that I have been COVID cautious since the start of the pandemic, and will continue to be until it is safe. I will be fully vaccinated on April 16, 2021!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a babysitter from [phone number hidden] for a family of 4 kids (ranging from a newborn to 5th grade, as well as one child being on the Autism Spectrum).
In May 2020 I was a nanny for a 4 year old boy until October 2020.
Starting in October 2020, I was a nanny for a 9 year old boy with behavioral issues and learning deficits until December 2020.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities may include fun games, educational games, coloring sheets, etc.
Outdoor activities may include tag, swimming, riding bikes, etc.
Everyday activities can change depending on the age of your child, what their interests are, and what you, as the parent, would like to see your child doing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny is balancing the fact that these children are human beings, but also being aware that they do not understand the same things that we, as adults, understand. Patience is the biggest thing to hold onto when it comes to being a nanny I have learned.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I nannied a 4 year old boy, he had a bunk bed with an open space on the bottom. It was always dark under there because he had a pirate themed tent that attached to the top of his bed and covered the bottom. He always said he wanted light in there, so one day I surprised him with a set of colorful Christmas lights that we hung underneath his bed. He was so happy and excited, he called his mom in the room and showed her. His entire face lighting up was literally the best thing ever.
