My experience with special needs children comes from helping care for my younger brother, who has special needs. Growing up, I learned how important it is to be patient, consistent, and understanding. I’ve supported him with daily routines, communication, and emotional regulation, and that experience has taught me how to adapt to different needs with love and respect. It also helped me develop a deeper level of empathy and the ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little boy I cared for practice basketball so he could try out for his school team. He was shy and unsure of himself, but we practiced regularly at the park, worked on his confidence, and set small goals each week. When he made the team, he was so proud and so was I.
