A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Estephanie, and I have been taking care of children since I was 10 years old. I have experience caring for newborns up to 12-year-old kids, including my nephews and children of friends. I am patient, responsible, and love engaging with kids through creative and interactive activities that help them learn while having fun.

I can assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, and homework, as I recently finished school myself and have strong study skills. Children bring joy to my days, and I love creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for them.

My primary language is Spanish, and I am currently learning English. I am available full-time and excited to help families with their childcare needs!

Looking forward to meeting you! 😊

"Estephanie is my cousin and cared for my daughter Vida during our stay in Costa Rica (Nov 2019–Feb 2020). Vida was about two years old, and Estephanie helped us with meals, snacks, light cleaning, playtime, walks, and educational activities. She also joined us on local trips. Although she helped us as family at first, she proved to be so responsible, caring, and reliable that I offered her the opportunity to come live with us in Germany for a year to continue caring for Vida. Unfortunately, the pandemic in 2020 made that impossible. I highly recommend her—she is kind, trustworthy, and truly wonderful with children."

"Estephanie was a tremendous help to me and my family. She supported me from the moment my first child was born in 2012, and continued helping with both of my children until 2017. She prepared their meals, helped with cleaning, played with them, and engaged them in fun and educational activities. My children love her, and she had a very positive impact on their early development. She is caring, responsible, patient, and truly dedicated. I trusted her completely, and having her around made a big difference in our daily life."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children in different settings, including helping friends and family members. While my work has not been paid, I have been responsible for looking after children of various ages, assisting them with school activities, household tasks, and playtime.

I have also cared for two children at the same time, ensuring they feel safe and engaged. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping calm and care for a child after they fell, making sure they felt better and safe. Additionally, I have assisted children with their schoolwork, including specific assignments and creative projects.

I truly enjoy spending time with children and creating a fun and nurturing environment for them!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love encouraging children's creativity and imagination, helping them turn simple things into something big and magical. I enjoy taking them for walks, going to parks, doing crafts, and playing fun games at home.

I love using paints, colored pencils, and different materials suitable for their age to create artistic activities. Reading stories or inventing new ones is also one of my favorite things to do, as it helps them develop their imagination.

Helping with schoolwork is something I truly enjoy, especially subjects like math, science, and arts, which were my favorites when I was a student. I also like involving kids in small and safe cooking activities, making it a fun experience where they feel part of the process.

Lastly, I love outdoor activities because I believe it's important for kids to explore and play beyond screens. Creating engaging and enriching experiences for them is something I truly enjoy!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is supporting a child's development by teaching them something new, giving them security, and making sure they know they can always count on me. It’s a big responsibility that should not be taken lightly, and I am always ready to take actions that benefit the child’s well-being.

What motivates me is that every child is different. They don’t just learn from us, but we also learn from them, which is truly important. I believe that teaching them, whether academically or in other educational ways, will help them in life.

I also love the joy children bring and the opportunity to help them manage their emotions. They are at a stage where they’re exploring the world and understanding their feelings, and being there to guide them is incredibly rewarding.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have direct experience caring for children with special needs, but I am willing to learn and adapt to provide the best care possible. I have met many children with different challenges and understand the importance of patience and flexibility.

I am a very patient person, and I can adjust activities to fit each child's unique needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. I would love the opportunity to learn more and provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve had countless unforgettable moments with the children I’ve had the opportunity to care for. What I love the most is seeing their smiles and knowing they want to see me again—it reminds me that I’ve done a good job. I can’t choose just one moment because each child has brought something special into my life. They’ve all shaped who I am today, and their joy and energy give me hope to keep moving forward.
