More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I cared for children of all ages(0-10) at the day care I taught at from March to August of 2021. We sang, danced, made art/crafts and learned lots of new things together! Then I was a nanny for a sweet little boy with special needs, our days were filled with learning while having fun! Most recently I'm working in an infant and toddler center with children under 3, where I'm known as the one always willing to help where needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

singing, dancing, learning, arts/crafts, playing at the park, swimming, going to the zoo, reading books, snuggling, listening, exploring, baking, just about anything!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing is making sure the children are happy, healthy, and safe! I also believe guiding them in everything from personal care and how to be a good person to traditional education is very important!

My experience with special needs children...

I have both personal and professional experience with children with special needs. Including assistive devices such as hearing aids, glasses/contacts, walkers, orthotics, and communication devices. I've provided assistance during clinical therapy appointments, including continuing programs at home.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love watching children learn new things and be proud of themselves while doing so! One of my favorite moments was watching my non-verbal special needs nanny kid copy speech patterns to label something he wanted. His smile as we cheered and he realized his communication worked is something I'll never forget!
