Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered in a pre-school for 3 years of high school serving as a support teacher. I have volunteered at lots of my church's kids camps, and have babysat in the past. I also have 2 cousins who are 3 and 5, who both have down syndrome and assist my aunt in watching them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
If the weather is bad, I enjoy taking the kids to either a fun indoor place to play around, or stay at home, draw and do crafts, or play with toys! But if it's a warm day, then running around outside and going to the park is ideal.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing is building a connection with the kids. I want them to feel like they can trust me, and are excited when I come over.
