I’ve worked as a nanny for a few years in two different families before pursuing a career in behavioral therapy for children with autism. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so any position I could bring my 1 year old with me would be ideal! I love children and have always had a soft spot for teaching and playing with kids, starting with my first childcare job in a daycare when I was 18.

Anything outdoors! Swinging, playing pretend, I don’t mind getting a little messy with permission from parents. I’ve worked with kiddos who love a dirt/mud kitchen.
Also enjoy doing more calm activities like crafts, or sensory oriented play.

Being someone the kids can trust. It’s so important to be fun so they enjoy having you around but cultivating a bond where they know you are reliable and someone they can always talk to is key.
