I am currently planning on moving into the city around May 2022 and furthering my studies as a Graduate student at Pace University. I have been babysitting for about 10 years and nannying for 2 years! I also have experience as a preschool teacher! Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think being able to keep a child active during the day is one of the most important tasks that a nanny has. I love being able to go outside to a park or play ground and just let kids have the time of their life. Whether its playing tag, playing soccer, or even flying a kite children should learn to enjoy outside play as much as inside play.I also enjoy taking kids to museums because helping expand their minds is very important to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny hands down is making sure the children are always happy and having a good time in any situation they are in. Whether I am teaching or nannying my top priority is being able to put a smile on my kids face. It brings me such joy to see the kids im with smiling and giggling and it lets me know I am doing something right in this world. Kids truly are precious and they are such good hearted souls from the very beginning. I want to be able to show them all the good there is in the world and even when bad or sad things happen you can come out the other end with a smile. Children deserve to have amazing lives whether it is while learning or playing. I want to be able to make all kids I encounter as happy and joyful as I feel being able to spend time with them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have never cared for special needs children but I currently have a few special needs children in my classroom. I work along side their therapists to come up with plans that benefit and help them have a happy and smooth school day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my favorite nanny moment was my very first nanny job, I was nannying for two sweet boys and I started at the end of summer! The older one was going to start kindergarten and the younger one would start preschool in the fall. They were starting to get nervous and everyday I would tell them how fun school is and all the friends they are going to make! Then the time came when they would be going to school on Monday and I wouldn’t see them till after the weekend and after I picked them up from school. They made me promise so many times on Friday night that I would be the one to pick them up right on time and we would go play at our favorite park after school so they can tell me about their first day. I truly felt loved in that moment they wanted so much to spend time with me and tell me about a special moment in their lives and I was over joyed I got to be apart of that with them
