Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes babysitting for multiple families since I was 11 years old and helping care for my younger siblings as the oldest of four. I also work at a bowling alley as a birthday party hostess, where I regularly work with children and help make sure they are safe, entertained, and having fun. Through my Career in Education class at school, I also work with children at the TSD Preschool. These experiences have helped me become patient, responsible, dependable, and comfortable caring for children of different ages.

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. I believe it is important to be responsible and dependable while also creating a fun and positive environment. Building trust with both the children and their parents is very important to me. I also think communication is key, especially when it comes to understanding a child’s needs, following their routines, and keeping parents updated. Most importantly, I want the children to feel happy, supported, and comfortable while they are in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children includes working at the Special Needs Prom at Woodside Bible Church for the past four years. I have been the head of the craft room, where I help plan and lead crafts and activities for the children attending. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, flexibility, and making sure every child feels welcomed and included. I really enjoy creating a fun and comfortable environment where children can participate at their own pace and feel supported. I have also gained experience working with children with different needs and personalities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are when I get to see the kids having fun and being themselves. I love playing games, doing crafts, going outside, or just hanging out and making them laugh. I especially love when kids get really excited about something we are doing or when they feel comfortable enough to be silly around me. Seeing them happy and knowing I helped make their day more fun is one of my favorite parts of babysitting.
