One girl was experiencing some bulling at her school and wasn’t telling anybody. No one couldn’t really get through to her, trying to find out why her grades were dropping. Until we started getting close because I shared my bullying story to her as well. Suddenly she did not feel like she was alone, & most importantly - understood. So after that I gave her a notebook where she can write down anything that’s going on that she didn’t want to speak about (she loved writing, & said she wanted to be a writer one day) and only whomever she wants can look into it. One day, she came to the After school and gave me a big hug, raising a paper in the air. She told me her grade went back up, ended up getting a 100% on her spelling test. She felt as if she can do anything after that and that’s the warmest feeling knowing you can change someone’s life like that.
