I cared from my younger brother in middle and high school as newborn until he was 4 years old. I also have experience nannying for my friend who recently gave birth to her pre-mature daughter from 3-6 months. I have plenty experience bottle-feeding, diaper-changing, nap times and much more. I have worked with elementary school aged children volunteering in an afterschool program. I also worked with children from age 4-15 as a math and reading tutor at Kumon.

What matters to me as a nanny the most is providing excellent care to the children and creating a bond and space where they are free and comfortable to grow and develop physically, mentally, and emotionally.

My favorite moment was during tummy time and while the baby was getting frustrated trying to reach for her toy, she successfully was able to maneuver her little body to get her toy. It was very gratifying to see the beginnings of her being able to move herself especially given that she was born prematurely.
