"From the moment she introduced herself, I could sense that Flor wasn't simply looking for a job taking care of the kids, she was more interested in acknowledging how they can be stimulated, entertained, and engaged while we were at the office or on late night evening calls. Xavi in particular has had difficulties with the prior sitter so we were reluctant to introduce a new person into his environment. We're glad we took the risk because with hectic schedules, we don't know how we could have endured these past 2 years without her assistance. She's never been late and if we happen to be an hour or two longer than expected, even when it was a last minute instance, she was always graceful in extending her time. With the move ahead of us, we haven't had the heart to tell our oldest we won't live close to Flor anymore. They've grow over that time and we're appreciative of her filling in gaps where were couldn't. Anyone in need of a gentle and kind soul to care for kids, this is her."

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading books together, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, and finding creative ways to keep them engaged and learning. I also love staying active with things like soccer, dancing, or simple games that help them move and have fun. Cooking or baking simple recipes together is another favorite it’s a great way to bond and teach basic skills. I always aim to match activities to each child’s personality and developmental stage, whether that means building something, playing a game, or just being silly and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a real connection with the children and the family. I love being someone the kids can feel safe and happy around, someone they can laugh with, learn from, and trust. It means a lot to know I’m playing a positive role in their daily life, whether it’s helping them through a tough moment or just being there to celebrate the little things. It’s not just a job it’s something I truly care about.

I don’t have direct experience working with children with special needs, but I’m open-minded, patient, and always willing to learn. I understand that every child is unique, and I’m committed to providing respectful, compassionate care to meet each child’s individual needs.
