Younger children (6mo-4yrs): I love spending time in mud kitchens or outdoor play in general. I think its important for children to spend time outdoors and learn about their surroundings! I think pretend play and independent play are also important for developmental growth at this age
Older children (5-10yrs): Board games and outdoor play at playgrounds or soccer fields are always good activites for children. I also love doing artwork with them such as sidewalk chalk or coloring

I think the social aspect of nannying is so so good for children. Even while attending school, that extra social time is important for developmental skills. I think its also important to care for children so then the parents can have some rest and private time. A parent is at their best when they're well-rested and has been provided space where they can focus on themselves

While babysitting a family from the preschool I'm employed at, I took the two children for a walk to a nearby park/playground where we played many different games. I felt like that experience helped me grow closer to the family and I gained trust from the parents to care for their children again.
