More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I gave dance lessons in Chile back in [phone number hidden] for kids aged 9-12. I was also an assistant at Church when I turned 12 until I was 16, and assisted a few summer camps as well. And of course, my nannying and babysitting jobs here from 2021-present.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depends on the season. During the winter, I love going tubbing, snowboarding, or staying cozy and watching movies at home. During the summer, I love going to the beach, pool, park, and on nature walks! And at-home, I just enjoy arts & crafts, playing board games, reading, and cooking!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having a good relationship with the child or children, and make them feel comfortable with me. At the end of the day, we'll be spending so much time together, my priority number 1 will always be for them to be happy and feel safe.
My experience with special needs children...
My cousin back home has autism and I've taken care of her multiple times. Non-family, I think I've only taken care of one kid with a non-verbal autism spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The 3 girls (7, 12, 13) I nanny at the moment have named my late night shifts on Friday nights (they often happen when their parents go out) ''Franny nights'', and we always do some kind of fun activity. Sometimes we get take-out, or go to the movies, or do a big play date with all their friends. It's my favorite!
