A little bit about me

Hello, I’m Frida or Fresa! I am currently 25 years of age and I’ve always been surrounded with a big family with kids of all ages. I got paid within family for helping them nanny when away at work or just a night out (everyone deserves one). I’ve also have experienced working with children with disabilities from all age ranges, could even do a bit of ASL if needed. Communication is a big part of me no matter if it’s with the parent and keeping them updated or with the kid(s) because at the end of the day they’re just curious and want know more of the world. I am also big on adhering to the kid(s) needs and being able to understand them in their own manner because no two kids are the same person. Now besides all this I love to play games with children, from helping them learn new things and seeing the gears in their brains turn when they finally are able to get an assignment, beat the dragon, win the race, win the prince or princess over, or even just learning to clap.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a few clients with different disabilities. I also have an amazing 20yr old brother and late 40’s uncle whom both have Down syndrome and they are amazing I’ve helped my brother and uncle during moments of anger and all it is most of the time is built up frustration. All you need is some patients and genuinely getting to know them for who they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Anytime I get to see a kid get their “ah ha I got it” moment are alway my favorite especially when I get the share it with the patent.
