I did 8 month volunteer work at a pre- school in Brazil. Helping the teachers in the development of activities, meals, care giver for the kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe that each children have specific needs and feelings that depend on their age and must be attended by responsible adults. I believe that children should be encouraged to the maximum, but that in the right environment they will always develop spontaneously if they have the freedom of choice. I would like to do fun educational activities that will enhance the child's learning ability. That will assist in school work for example, to do both indoor and outdoor activities to expose different environments that will allow them use their five sense. And with that, make them release energy that stimulate theirs creativity.

My experience with special needs children...

In my first year as an Au Pair, I took care for a girl with special needs and she was 15 years old. She had a syndrome called Syndrome Ip36, that affected speech and motor coordination. So I provided all the support she needed, from changing diapers, preparing meals, bathing, driving her to school, taking her to events she attended, favorite restaurants, playing for her my guitar, always willing to make her happy. And with her I learned sign language, and give her all the support she needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Recently, I was taking care of twins, I was their Au Pair and the most memory that I had with them was when we had a slumber party, we put in our Halloween costumes, we danced ate pizza, and it was one of the most fun memory i could share if them.
