I also completed an internship where I documented supervised visitations between children and noncustodial parents, which strengthened my professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm in sensitive family situations.

My experience with children with special needs comes from my current role as a Special Education paraprofessional at an elementary school. One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child complete a small art project from start to finish. Seeing their excitement and pride when they shared it with their family was incredibly rewarding. I am currently a substitute teacher for that program. I help care for my elderly mom so am seeking another part- time job to work around my sub job and helping to care for my mom. I would be available 12 - 3:30 pm-but only on days I don’t sub. During the school year, I have been averaging one day per week subbing. I don’t know until the morning, at about 11:00 am whether I would be working full, half-day or not working! . I have my Lifetime SPED teaching license for ND. I let my CPR and First Aide certifications lapse after I retired- I would be willing to renew those if it didn’t cost too much:) Thanks for considering my application.
