I was a volunteer in a kindergarten class for two years and a middle school class for one year. I also helped take care of the many children I was surrounded by while growing up. In addition, I have now raised my one year old daughter and take care of my 9 year old step son.

I love doing so many unique and exciting activities with children. I tend to focus on activities that are age specific so to help with development while also keeping the child engaged. I also try to adjust the activities based on each child’s interests.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is the child’s safety. Ultimately if I were to have someone watch my daughter, I would care the most about safety and so that is what I take into account when watching another’s children.
