Hi, my name is Gabby and I am currently a sophomore at a University studying child psychology, and I love dogs! I have been on Care. com for almost two years, and have connected with tons of awesome families and kiddos thanks to it! I currently nanny for a family a few evenings during the week, but I am looking to pick up more hours. I am comfortable handling pickups and drop-offs, and cooking and cleaning. I love taking the kids to the park, doing crafts, and helping them with their homework. I have work experience in and outside of child care and I have also worked as a tutor. I have worked as both a nanny and tutor year round for the past 5 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the pool and park, taking the children to the animal shelter, playing outside, and playing and making up games when we are stuck inside during the colder months or bad weather.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being easy to talk to and caring for the kids as if they are your own. I have formed long-lasting relationships with many of the children and families I have worked with.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children ages 2-12 with autism, ADHD, and cerebral palsy; however I am currently studying psychology on the pre med track, have taken the CNA program at Kirkwood, and am first aid trained and CPR certified, so I am willing to work with anyone!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was driving home from the kids' house one day when I received a text from a mother saying that her three year old asked "Can we get Gabby a bed for our house?"
