Hi! I’m Gabrielle, a nurturing stay at home mom in Belmont seeking to start a nanny share in August with one other infant close in age to my son, born June 2024. Most recently, I’ve been working as a part-time preschool aide and nanny for a neurodivergent 3-year-old girl. A key part of my role is helping her stay emotionally regulated throughout the day - offering calm, consistent support during transitions, sensory overload, or moments of frustration. I work closely with her teachers and parents to follow her individualized strategies, and I provide one-on-one care that is grounded in patience, empathy, and trust-building.

I’ve also been the full-time caregiver for my own son, who will be turning one in June. That experience has given me a strong foundation in infant care - from supporting his developmental milestones to creating predictable routines and a nurturing, screen-free environment.

Both roles have shaped my responsive, child-centered approach. I aim to meet each child where they are emotionally and developmentally, while creating a sense of safety, connection, and joy in the everyday moments

Activities I enjoy doing with children include reading books together, singing songs, exploring outside on walks, doing simple crafts, and encouraging open-ended play with blocks, toys, or sensory bins. I love supporting language development through talking and storytelling, and I’m big on making everyday routines fun—like turning clean-up time into a game or making up songs during diaper changes. For infants, I enjoy tummy time, baby-safe play, and helping them meet developmental milestones with lots of encouragement and care. I always follow the child’s lead while keeping things safe, engaging, and age-appropriate.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where a child can feel loved, secure, and free to grow. It’s about showing up consistently with patience, empathy, and respect for both the child and their family. I believe strong communication with parents, attentiveness to a child’s individual needs, and a genuine passion for caregiving are what make the biggest difference. As a nanny, you’re not just helping with daily routines—you’re becoming a trusted part of a child’s early life and development, and that’s a role I take seriously and with a lot of heart.
