I had Christmas in July as a theme within my curriculum. I set up a stalking with the alphabet in it and we were practicing saying the letter along with its sound. A little boy picked the letter R and proceeded to say the letter. When I asked him to make the sound, “can’t you say rrrrrrrrrrrr” he looked at me and replied. “I cannot”. I thought it was the funniest thing!
