A little bit about me

Aloha...My name is Genna Kerr. I am 65 years old and come from a family of 8 siblings. I grew up in Idaho and met my husband in 1967 in California. We moved to Hawaii in 1970 the land of my husbands birth. In Hawaii I raised 3 beautiful children 1 boy & 2 girls. They grew up & moved on with their own lives. I've always loved children as a matter of fact I couldn't wait to be a Grandmother! Being a Grandmother gives you a 2nd chance to love a child...I love to write stories. poetry, cook, clean & most of all inspire children to meet their own potential! I will love your child unconditionally and help in any way possible. My only son passed away August 24. 2016 at the age of 41, from sarcoma bone cancer. He was sick for 3 years but fought so hard to live. I took him to chemotherapy treatments, radiation and took care of him everyday until he died in my arms. Currently I live with my beautiful daughter-n-law and my sons three children. I continue to help raise them as this was a promise I made to my son. Malia is 11, Kalama is 15 & Mahealani is 13. I continue to help with teaching, loving them & inspire them to their full potential. I now have time to reach out to other families who perhaps need a little help with their children. I am here if someone needs me as I've done this my whole life. My hours are very flexible. I can offer my care also in the evenings or weekends. My husband can drop me off & pick me up anytime.
