Hi! My name is Gia, and I’m a compassionate, responsible, and energetic individual with a deep love for working with children. I’m currently studying Social Work and Child Development at Chico State, where I’ve gained strong insight into child well-being and positive development. I also have hands-on experience as a volunteer in after-school programs (CAVE) and currently work as a caregiver through IHSS, which has strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to adapt to different needs and personalities.

I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where kids feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning engaging activities, or just being a consistent, kind presence.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, and being outdoors. I’m also CPR certified and very dependable when it comes to communication and scheduling. I’d love the opportunity to support your family!

My favorite nanny moment was when a child I had been working with for a while finally tied their shoes on their own after weeks of practice. The look of pride on their face was unforgettable, and it reminded me how meaningful the small milestones can be. It was such a special moment because I got to see their confidence grow and knew I had played a part in supporting their independence. Moments like that are why I love working with kids.
