A little bit about me

My name is Gianna, I’m 19 years old and a second-year student at Cal Poly studying Industrial Technology and Packaging. I’m originally from the Bay Area and love staying active—whether it’s being outdoors, going to the gym, or playing sports. I grew up playing both volleyball and basketball in high school, and I still enjoy keeping that part of my life active.
I’ve grown up around kids my whole life—I have two younger sisters (3 and 8 years younger than me) and lots of younger cousins who I’ve helped care for over the years. I also have experience tutoring elementary through 5th grade students in math and reading, which I did at my old K–8 school during the summers.
I’d describe myself as responsible, caring, and energetic. I love creating fun, safe activities that keep kids engaged, whether indoors or outdoors. My availability is still being finalized with my class schedule, but I’ll likely be free on weekends and some evenings during the week.
