Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped teach Sunday School at my old church, I was also in cheerleading throughout high school and we always did mini cheer camp with children ages 3-11. I have also sporadically babysat for family friends throughout my life.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love coloring, painting, making music, reading and telling stories, hide and seek, board games, science experiments, fashion shows, exploring outside, tag, movies, video games, dolls and action figures, make believe, and coming up with fun recipes. I basically just love to have fun :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
It makes me happy to be able to provide a safe, loving, fun, and rewarding environment for children! Especially because some children get sad that their parents can't be around all the time, it's important that they know they always have someone around who cares.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never personally cared for a child with special needs, however my little brother has Asperger's and ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments would have to be helping one of the little girls I used to babysit practice her gymnastics routine for her competition the following week. She was super stressed so I promised her we could stay up after her siblings went to bed to practice and practice until she felt confident. We did that for a couple of days, (I even learned some things myself). She did incredible and placed 2nd state wide!!
