A little bit about me...

Knowing I can positively impact a child's life is what I love most about childcare. For the past four years, I've enjoyed babysitting children from newborn to 11 years old. I have two little brothers of the ages 9 and 11 and have watched over them many times since they were tiny! I also have 5 little cousins with ages all ranging from 2-9 who I also watch occasionally! My calm and patient nature helps me connect with kids, and I strive to be friendly and approachable.

I provide regular updates via text or a phone call and always follow your preferred communication method. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and will always follow your household rules. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.

I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I would love to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently have 2 younger brothers of the ages 9 and 12, but grew up watching them since they were 2! I have four younger cousins as well ranging from ages 2-9 who I have provided uncountable care for! I have babysat four unrelated families who I still keep in touch with today. Their ages all ranged from 1-9 as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing sports outside with kids, board games, or just basic games like hide and seek and tag! I have done water balloons and the kids I have cared for seemed to love it!! I also am passionate about doing whatever the parent prefers!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is the kids enjoyment and doing what’s best for them. That also comes with what the parents of the children prefer. First, I will follow any parent’s specific rules of the child always, but other than that just making sure the kid is having an enjoyable time and gets done what he/she needs to get done.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been a mentor for kids of special needs ranging from 7-19, but am very comfortable with all ages. I would help them with their work that needed to get done, and make it enjoyable for their attention span. I would help take them to class and follow along with what they needed to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when all three kids of the family I watched friend and made me card when I had to leave for college. It showed me how much they cared about me and they changed the way I view babysitting forever.

Kendra B. - Seeking Work in Reno

Babysitter Available in Reno, NV: Kendra B.

Hi! I’m a former birth doula and lactation consultant. I love working with kids and encouraging them to be creative, adventurous and wholeheartedly themselves. I’ve worked with families with multiple children under 5, special needs and a variety of backgrounds. Most recently I worked in animal welfare and now I’m taking a break to return to school for social work while working with my partner on his business development. I like to stay busy during independent play or nap time by cleaning, organizing or meal prepping. I’m looking for the flexibility and joy that I found nannying in the past and hope to stick with a consistent family for 1-3 years!

Alexie K. - Seeking Work in Reno

Live-In Part-Time Nanny Available in Reno, NV: Alexie K.

My name is Lexi, and I’m a very outgoing person who loves connecting with people and spreading positive energy wherever I go. I’ve always had a natural love for babies and kids, and because I grew up helping raise my siblings, I developed a nurturing side early on that taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for others with my whole heart. Those experiences shaped me into someone who is dependable and mature beyond my years, but also very sweet, fun, and full of kindness. I’m the type of person who likes to keep things organized and balanced, because it makes me feel good knowing everything is in order and the people around me are happy. At the end of the day, I love being someone others can count on, whether it’s for a laugh, a helping hand, or just a little extra love.
