Hi families! My name is Gillian and I have over 9 years of experience as a babysitter, nanny, kids horseback-riding instructor, and horse camp counselor! I have had experience with kids ages 4-15, as well as kids with special needs. I also have years of experience pet sitting with cats, dogs, and horses.

I'm am a college student hoping to find a family that will regularly need my help each week. Cooking, helping with homework, and picking up from school are among the different activities and tasks I'm happy to be a part of. I am very organized and I love to play games, problem solve, and think of fun activities for me and the kids!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a camp counselor and organizer at a local horse stable. Additionally I spent 5 years volunteering at a therapeutic riding center with special needs children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take the kids to do outdoor activities such as swimming, playing at the park, and taking dogs on a walk if they have any. I also love playing games and doing art and crafts around the house!

The most important part of being a nanny is providing support to a family during their busy weeks as well as providing the kids with another supportive adult they can trust and feel comfortable with as they navigate their daily lives.

I have been a nanny for a 10 year old boy with high functioning autism, as well as a volunteer at a therapeutic riding center for children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was the first time I took my nanny kids to visit the horse stable and I got to watch their eyes light up while they told me their favorite horses and fed all of them treats. Their smiles were priceless! Aside from that I just love the fun we have together every day during the normal routine and all of the silly things they tell me!
