A little bit about me

In all honesty, I have not held an official position as a “nanny.” However, I have a daughter, two grandsons, and a third due in February. They have lived with me their whole lives. I have been a nurse since I graduated in 1989, volunteered as Team Mom for all sporting activities my “kids have been involved in, have babysat for all of my friends and many neighbor’s children, and am part of a large family with many children of all ages; they are all special and unique, need to be loved and respected, and I find the joy that children bring are our greatest chance at a future that inspires us all to be better people - to create a world in which they can learn and thrive. I am fifty years young and just graduated with a double major and minor, in Health and Human Services, Social and. Ruminate Justice, and psychology. After many years of nursing , and being a grandmother, I have found that it is with our children we need to start; with live, encouragement, protection of their right to have a childhood , and to enjoy it...have fun, even while they’re performing their responsibilities. I learn a great deal from my grandchildren; perhaps the most important being that all they really want is love, and need that delicate balance of love, discipline, and fun.
