Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve spent years surrounded by the energy of children, starting at home where I helped care for my six school-age siblings. That personal experience lead me into leadership roles like being a Vacation Bible School leader and a dance teacher, where I learned how to keep large groups of kids engaged and having fun. I’ve also spent a lot of time in educational settings as a teacher’s aide and tutor, which has given me the patience to help with schoolwork and the ability to handle multiple kiddos at one time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m definitely the kind of sitter who stays right in the middle of the fun! I love being hands-on and keeping kids busy with activities that get them thinking and moving.
I’m a big believer in staying active, so I’d much rather be playing outside, starting a craft project, or trying out a fun science experiment than sitting in front of a screen. With my dance background, I’m always down for a dance party. I also love the quiet times, like reading a favorite book, playing board games, or working on a puzzle. My goal is always to make sure the kids are truly engaged, learning something new, and having a great time while you're away!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Above everything else, I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure your kiddos feel completely safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your children with someone new, so my first priority is always building a genuine connection with them so they feel happy and secure. To me, a successful day is one where the kids feel supported, safe, and can’t wait for me to come back and play!

My experience with special needs children...

For the past three years, I’ve had the wonderful experience of caring for a brother and sister who both have autism, as well as a teenager with autism. Working with them throughout their elementary years has taught me so much about patience, specialized communication, and how to adapt to each child's unique needs. I’m very comfortable providing the extra support and structure that helps every child feel safe and understood, and I pride myself on being a calm, reliable presence that both the kids and their parents can truly trust.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories was a summer trip to Six Flags. I remember one of the younger girls was nervous about her first 'big' coaster, so we spent the time in line playing games and talking through exactly what to expect. Seeing her go from being super anxious to jumping off the ride with a huge smile, asking to go again, was so rewarding. I love helping kids feel brave, safe, and genuinely happy.
