More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have two younger brothers who I helped take care of growing up as both of my parents were full time workers! Since around 12 years old at any get togethers I was helping keep the children occupied and happy. I started babysitting at 13 for family members or family friends!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going on walks and playing at parks! I also love to create activities that help expand the mind. Keeping the child/children happy and engaged is top priority.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is creating a bond with not only the child but the parents as well. I love keeping the parents involved as much as possible, it can be tough having someone else help take care of your child so it’s important to me to make you as the parent feel like you are there with us! I also view the importance of helping the child grow not “raise” the child. I’d never want to take away the importance of the parents!
My experience with special needs children...
I have yet to nanny or babysit a kid with special needs but I do have two younger cousins with autism who I love and adore!
