A little bit about me

Hi! I have over 8 years of experience in childcare, early child development and being a nanny. I have a Newborn Care Specialist certification for the University of Colorado as well as current First Aid/CPR/AED accredidation. I also have a valid driver's lisence, am completely vaxxed and have been vetted and thoroughly background checked through two seperate agencies where I currently pick up temporary/fill-in work. I am a, former professional ballerina and have worked in a variety of professional childcare and development roles. I am currently pursing my Educator's level (E RYT-500) level in Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga with an emphasis on Trauma-Informed yoga with children. I am comfortable with allll animals, light housekeeping and meal prep for children. I am looking for my next PT family (my current family is moving in Jan 25) with a flexible start date. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny! PT and FT (60 hours) as well as various child-related/adjacent roles. I received my BFA, where I double-majored in Theatre and French with a minor in Ballet. I have worked in a variety of traditional and non-traditional childcare roles, from pre-toddler teacher at Hebrew Union College, FT nanny and on-call sitter, events coordinator/ppeteer with the Village Puppet Theatre in Mainstrasse, and choreographer for Cincinnati Children's Theatre and Showboat Majestic. Currently, I work as a to a (now 16-year-old F) in a PT Nanny position

Listening. To the child. to the family. Open , clear, communication with mutual respect between the family as individuals and myself, as a human and a professional. Seamlessly transitioning in and out of the exact routines and modelling that the parents have set in place to allow the child(ren) to grow and thrive in a safe and loving environment

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with medically challenged children who require medication supervision as well as some specialized equpment. I have worked in a limited capacity with children with neurodivergence and am confortable following any protocols outlined by the family
