A little bit about me

I am Grace Blazevich a senior at the University of Iowa on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track. I am majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with a certificate in Disability Studies. I have worked at Child Serve as an assistant teacher in their Day Health room where we provide full day learning for children with Autism. I have previously worked provided respite services at Child Serve for one year and Respite Connection for four years. My past as well as current work experiences have taught me how to make quick and calm decisions in stressful situations when things could happen, while being patient and understanding. It also taught me to always listen and ask questions that will improve my own performance on the job. I have previously volunteered at Courage League Sports and am currently volunteering at Special Olympics with their Team Fit program as well as their Pen Pal program. I feel these experiences qualify me for this position.
