Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 5+ years experience working with kids of all ages. Worked with 2 different families as a full time/part time nanny. I have babysat my family member's kids and their friends for multiple days in a row as well as for occasional daytime events. I have worked as a para professional in two different public schools these past two years. Worked in 2 daycare facility settings and have loved every moment of my time with kids and being a potential role model as a caregiver while parents are away.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Fun sensory activities, arts & crafts, coloring, reading books, playing outside, joining in with them while playing. (yes I will play dress up, cars, trains, doctor, sports; anything they would like to do.)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is... being there each day I am needed, ready to work and have fun with the kids. Helping out with household cleaning and just giving mom and dad a break, so they can feel at peace at the end of the day and have a good evening with their family and get a good night sleep and not have to feel the extra stress of everything needing done.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked as a para professional specializing in special education. I have two young family members who both have autism ranging in different ways each. I've learned a lot on recognizing, and how I can work with them and interact.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many that are just to good. But I truly love just getting to know the families and their kids and what types of things they like to do. I think just the best moments I have always had is when the oldest of the kids would always yell to his mom as I pulled up the driveway "Grace is home". I think it was just so funny but so sweet. Showed how much the kids loved having me there.
