Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my time working with the freshman boys on the University of Arizona rugby team. I served as their campus liaison, helping them adjust to college life both academically and socially. I acted as a support system checking in regularly, offering guidance, and being someone they could rely on during a big life transition. While they weren’t little kids, the role required a lot of the same qualities: patience, responsibility, empathy, and a strong sense of care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include spending time outside, playing games and sports, and learning new activities together. I love encouraging their curiosity whether that means joining in on their favorite games, helping them study, or exploring new hobbies they’re excited about. I believe in meeting kids where they are and making learning and playtime fun, engaging, and meaningful.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children began in high school, where I had the opportunity to support students in both ASL and science classes. I worked alongside them to reinforce lessons, encourage participation, and help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This experience taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and communication, and it deepened my passion for helping every child feel seen, supported, and capable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are always when the kids I care for start to feel comfortable enough to open up to me. I love when they tell me about their day, share little stories, or excitedly show me their favorite toys, games, or hobbies. It’s in those moments that I know I’ve built a real connection and earned their trust something that means so much to me as a caregiver.
