A little bit about me

I grew up in a family of 8 and also have lots of cousins, so growing up, I did a lot of babysitting and have always loved working with children. For the past 5 years, I've worked in a daycare and have loved my time there. Although it was hard for me to leave, I was ready for a change. Taking care of children in the comfort of their own home, instead of in a classroom overrun with 15-20 other children, allows for more one on one time, more meaningful connections, and a less stressful environment. I love engaging with children and coming up with fun activities and games that get kids away from screens and help to get their hands working and their brains turning. I love making connections with a child and getting down on their level to see the world through their fresh, curious eyes. Also able to help with housework/cleaning.
