Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started out as an Assistant Teacher for a preschool classroom and quickly became the Lead Teacher and have been working within said preschool classroom for almost two years. I have my AA in early childhood education, and before I began working within classrooms, I was babysitting and taking care of family friend's children as well as volunteering at church childcare facilities. I even went on a mission trip to Belize and volunteered at an orphanage for a month while I was in high school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything art related (I love finding creative projects that are children friendly), outdoor activities (bikes, swimming, chalk..), baking, and general play!

Being that extra support for both the children and parents, and allowing kids to explore their creativity and childhood full of fun and love!

I have no academic training for working with children with special needs. However, I have worked with children who are on the autism spectrum, who have ADHD, and who have physical disabilities.
