A little bit about me

Hello!
My name is Hailey Davis. I live in Highland Utah, and am the second oldest of six children. I’ve worked with kids ranging from newborn to 16 years old for a majority of my life. I also worked at the Utah State Developmental Center for a year, and while I was there I worked with mentally and physically disabled men with ages ranging from 30-75 years old. I absolutely adore children, and would love to help ease your work load by caring for your kiddos.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

All throughout junior high and high school, I volunteered at summer camps and helped kids with outdoor activities. I also regularly babysat for my aunt and uncle. Being the second oldest of six children, I was also often put in charge to watch my 4 younger siblings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors! Being a dancer a majority of my life, I always love to opportunity to play tag, hide and seek, dance parties, swimming, and anything that requires getting my hands dirty. The aquarium, the zoo, dinosaur museum, and anything sensory orientated is also very fun. Arts and crafts, legos, and Nerf guns are something that I also enjoy doing with kiddos.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is patience. Everybody deserves to have their voice heard. I’m a huge believer in allowing children speak their mind to further understand their behaviors, rather than immediate punishment.

My experience with special needs children...

I’m not too experienced with special needs children, but I did work for the Utah State Developmental Center for a year. While I was there, I worked with men ages 30-75 with varying mental/physical disabilities.
