Hello! I have worked with individuals with special health care needs throughout the past 10 years. My first job was working at a daycare where I worked for 4 years throughout high school. I have experience with G-Tubes, Diastat, personal cares, and diet orders. I am a Certified Medication Aide and a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional. I am also certified in First Aid, CPR, Diastat, G-Tube, and a Mandatory Reporter for both child and adult abuse in Iowa. I currently live in Iowa but am planning a relocation to the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area January 2024.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Worked at a daycare for 4 years throughout high school and pat of college. Became a direct support professional to special needs adults and children. Have worked at a non-profit organization for special needs children and young adults for the past 3.5 years- this is my third time with this organization spanning over a total of 6 years. Held two different supervisor positions creating goals, care plans, and working on independent skills.
