More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at a 2 month summer camp during the summer of 2023. I worked with children ages 5-15. I also used to babysit and nanny back home. I would take the child to soccer practice, feed him, help him with homework, and get him ready for bed. I also interned in many different types of classes ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade. I also used to work at a preschool, and in junior year of high school for dual enrollment I had to run a preschool. So children would come in and my class and I would teach them, create bulletin boards, talk to parents, do observations, etc.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like playing with children outside whether it be on a playground or just running around. I have also found that I enjoy sit down activities with them like coloring, reading, or playing board games/with baby dolls.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a younger brother who has autism so I have grown up around those with special needs. I have also interned in a few special education classes so I’ve seen many different types of children.
