I think the most important thing about caring for a child is just to make it feel comfortable and welcoming and because you have to think the child’s probably spend more time with you than the parent during the day and you don’t want them to be bored and dread spending time with you when you’re there too keep them entertained do stuff with them it’s kind of like you’re their parent for the day to an extent so just making sure they feel comfortable and loved and Safe

I always enjoyed when I would come into the class and they would say my name in their little baby voice or hearing the parents give me feedback of how their kids talk about me at home it just makes me feel good that they’re enjoying being at school and learning and just having a good time that just makes it worth it to me
